Jennifer Pirks – Co-opted Governor

Co-chair of Local Governing Board

Link Governor for Writing

DallamPM 011

Hello, I’m Jenny. I’m a parent Governor at Dallam Primary School, because I have a child in the Special Provision. I wanted to get involved with the Governing of Dallam, because I feel this school and this community has so much to offer. The staff are all very dedicated to their work with our children and work so hard towards excellent outcomes for the pupils and their families.

I have worked in the Neighbourhood team of Warrington Borough Council for 14 years, in various roles and have a lot of local knowledge of the area and its residents. I have 2 children, one of whom is autistic, so I have experience of the struggles many families face. I really look forward to working with the school to achieve great things.

Mrs A Harrison - SENDCo & DP Lead(3)

Hello, I’m Ann Harrison and I am a co-opted Governor at Dallam Primary School.

I have worked at Dallam for 28 years, mainly within the designated provision and most recently as Assistant Head. During this time I have experienced many changes and seen our school grow and develop. I wanted to be a Governor to be part of this team who are striving to give our children the very best educational opportunities.

I am passionate about our school and I am proud to be a part of a committed team and strong community. I value the opportunity to work alongside parents to support our fantastic children.

Dr M Emsley - Governor

Hello, I’m Margaret, a co-opted Governor at Dallam Primary School.

I am a civil and structural engineer and worked on construction sites across the UK before becoming a lecturer at The University of Manchester. I took early retirement a few years ago to become a full-time carer.

I really believe that Dallam school is a place where children thrive and are given every opportunity to fulfil their potential, enjoy learning and take pride in their achievements. This is due to the fantastic committed, caring and hardworking staff and I feel privileged to be a governor at Dallam school
